FaxCore is a true 21st Century fax server application with a comprehensive set of standard features that are included in the base product, which is unparalleled in the fax server industry. Built on the Microsoft .NET Framework (3.5) the FaxCore high-performance engine is designed to deliver fax traffic over enterprise networks of any size. FaxCore lets you fax enable the entire organization locally or globally.

FaxCore 2007 is integrated with many Microsoft applications, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Exchange (all versions), SharePoint, Microsoft CRM and Windows Server 2008 for the latest in Unified Communications (UC) technology and without cumbersome connectors. These are the features required in today's converged world.

Support of VoIP solutions from Cisco, Avaya, Nortel, ShoreTel and others extends and leverages existing UC deployments and all of them are standard -- They are not extra cost components. FaxCore understands that VoIP and converged IP customers want simplicity and the lower costs associated with today's new technologies.

The FaxCore fax server leverages web and internet based technology to deliver cost effective and simple implementations. By leveraging AJAX, the rich functionality normally associated with a Fat Client is available to both Users and Administrators through a browser UI. The interface (Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari & Chrome) also facilitates rapid deployment to all enterprise locations. Administrators and users don't have to be at their PCs to send a fax, or manage the system for true 21st Century mobility.


There is no need to install software on your mail server  • • •
    A standard SMTP connector between your mail server and the FaxCore server means fewer problems and no barriers to upgrades.

FaxCore's SMTP Email Gateway provides email to fax functionality via direct sending to the FaxCore SMTP server, allowing you to fax enable your Exchange, Lotus Notes, or POP3 based mail server without installing any software on the server.

FaxCore's synchronization of users against Active Directory or Domino is done without requiring any schema modifications.

This allows administrators to quickly and easily add and maintain FaxCore users and permissions via their existing directories and databases via standard LDAP queries.


FaxCore's Web Service SDK  • • •
    FaxCore's WS/SOA SDK offers a straight forward and simple interface, reducing application integration to a matter of hours instead of days. The SDK can be used to integrate on any system with network access to the FaxCore environment. FaxCore provides web service APIs to send, receive, route, and administer fax services. The SDK is also another standard no extra cost feature.



FaxCore's N-Tier Architecture  • • •
    FaxCore's N-Tier Architecture is a true third generation Fax Server Solution. The 21st Century design of FaxCore allows for scalability and fault tolerance with distributed processing. Legacy computer fax products are client-dependant first generation designs, while client/server products are second generation. FaxCore is the only product that conforms to the N-Tier and web service paradigm.



Scalable & Fault-Tolerant  • • •
    FaxCore is architected with the same web services design that popular on-line retailers use to provide scalable and fault tolerant Internet based services. FaxCore's architecture enables organizations to duplicate and spread critical system processes across multiple PCs. For example, rather than putting all fax boards into a single server, spread them out over multiple PCs, each containing 50%, 25%, 20%, etc. of the fax boards and PSTN connections, thus eliminating single points of failure.

This fault tolerance can be extended wven further by deploying FaxCore in a virtual environment and using the Dialogic/Brooktrout SR140 FoIP software drivers. This same concept can be applied to all of the critical fax server functions: Rendering, Document Storage, Presentation Services, and Event Processing. Faxcore is Fault Tolerant and fully scalable from 2 channels, to 24, to 48, and above. FaxCore also has a special Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) price structure to encourage customers to establish a (BC/DR) site.
