FaxCore Inc. cares deeply about protecting your personal data from misuse or unauthorized access. This Privacy Notice is designed to inform you about how we collect, process, and store the personal data that you provide to us. FaxCore is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected, and to the extent possible by FaxCore, that your personal data is secure. At FaxCore, “Personal Data” refers to data that could be used alone or in combination with other data, to identify you as an individual. For individuals not covered by GDPR or where the definition of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is used, we define personal data as data that allows someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, payroll information, as well as any other non-public information about you that is associated with or linked to any of the foregoing data.

Personal Data We Collect – What and How

We collect and use personal data that you provide directly to us. This data is collected in various online forms, email, phone conversations, and throughout our business relationship.

Data You Provide to Us

On our website, the Request a Demo and Contact Us forms are used to collect data which is used to contact prospective customers. This data goes into a database. Types of information that is collected are:
  • Page the person is coming from
  • Data and time of contact
  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Company
  • Message – free form field
The name, email, phone number, and company are put into our corporate CRM. When you engage with us as a customer, we collect business information for contract creation, billing, and corporate communication. FaxCore uses the standard business products for the collection, processing, and storage of this data. Our FaxCore System can only be accessed by contracted and authorized customers. All captured information in this system is used for user authentication and user experience enhancement purposes.

Data We Collect Automatically

We automatically collect personal information about you when you access our Site. To make our Site more useful to you, our servers (which may be hosted by a third party service provider) may collect information from you, including your browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address (a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet, which may vary from session to session), domain name, and/or a date/time stamp for your visit.

Tracking Technologies

  • Cookies are small amounts of data that are stored in separate files within your computer’s Internet browser.   • Google AdWords conversion tracking is an analytics service provided by Google that connects data from the Google AdWords advertising network with actions performed on this Site.
This Site specifically uses Google Analytics which is one of the most widespread and trusted analytics solutions on the web for helping us to understand how you use the site and ways that we can improve your experience. FaxCore will never sell or share your personal data with third parties outside our authorized sub processors or unless we are required by law.

Subprocessors

During the normal course of business, we may transfer information to our vendors. We use third party Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) to help us process personal data. FaxCore also uses credible vendors who can comply with appropriate security and privacy controls that meet the FaxCore standard.

Individual Rights

If you have submitted a Contact Us form, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. Upon request, we will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal data. You have the right to access the personal data we have about you, and you may request that it be corrected, amended, not processed, or deleted by emailing Privacy@faxcore.com with the subject of “Access Request.” We require all our requests to be in writing. We will respond to your access request within a reasonable time, under 30 days. We may require additional information from you to allow us to confirm your identity or find your personal data. If you believe that any personal data we are holding on you is incorrect, incomplete, or shouldn’t be processed, please contact us as soon as possible, at the contact information below, and we will promptly take the appropriate action. You have the right to withdraw your consent for any marketing or sales material. To do this, please send an email to Privacy@faxcore.com with the subject of “opt out”.

Changes To Our Privacy Notice

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our Privacy Notice on this page. In some cases, we provide additional notice of changes. If we make material changes to how we treat your personal data, we will notify you by email to the email address specified in your account and/or through a notice in the application or on the Site. The date the Privacy Notice was last revised is listed at the top of this page.

Complaints

If you have a complaint with how we have handled your Personal Data please let us know and we will try to fix it. You can email us at Privacy@faxcore.com. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area and have a concern about our practices concerning the processing of Personal Data that we are not able to resolve, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data privacy authority where you reside.

Children’s Privacy

FaxCore does not market or sell to children. If we learn that we have collected Personal Data from children under 13 (and in certain jurisdiction under the age of 16), we will promptly take steps to delete the information and terminate the child’s account. California Residents Special Notification Individuals who are residents of California and have provided their Personal Data to us may request information regarding our disclosures, if any, of their personal data to third parties for direct marketing purposes. Such requests must include the reference “Request for California Privacy Information” in the subject line and in the body of the message and must include the email address or mailing address, as applicable, for us to send our response. This request may be made no more than once per calendar year. Requests must be submitted to Privacy@faxcore.com.
